Some of my favorite things...

Recently I started to notice the trend of the J.Crew Bubble necklace and I instantly fell in love. My favorite color is the yellow! I also loved the turquoise necklae and I could not wait to get them! They're the perfect accessory for any outfit!

The next item that caught my eye was the Lilly Pulitzer Cammie dress! How cute and casual is this little number? I chose the 'You Gotta Regatta' print because it's the perfect mix of summer colors.

I also loved the new Lilly Treena Maxi Dress! I chose a darker color because I was feeling daring! (Normally I go with the classic Lilly pastel prints) I love the 'Hey Sailor' print and couldn't be happier! 9213-default-L.jpg1917438-p-DETAILED.jpg

The Classy Class of 2012

I am always looking for ways to keep it classy while I prepare to walk up those steps and recieve my diploma. And since the graduation day is here I've created a list to create a classy and clean cut graduation experience!

1. White is classic and elegant! Don't be afraid to choose a classic white shift dress or a conservative strapless dress that doesn't reveal too much. I would suggest Lilly Pulitzer, she always has incredible options!

2. Keep the hair simple! Either a low bun or side bun, half up/ half down, or simply down! Don't over do the hair because you're going to have a cap on anyways! Remember to wear your hair in a way that will look good with a cap on and off for the after parties and dinners.

3. It's all about the shoes! Make sure your shoes work with your dress. Wedges look better with a white summer dress rather than a pair of white patent leather pumps. If your'e wearing a dress that's NOT white feel free to wear whichever color you prefer but for white dresses, I recommend the wedges.

I hope graduation day will be filled with laughter, tears, and most importantly great outfits! I know tonight I'll be wearing waterproof mascara! :(
Miss USA 2012 is........ OLIVIA!!! <3

Yesterday night was the 2012 Miss USA pageant live from Las Vegas. Everyone knew hands down that our fellow Bay View Alumnae Olivia Culpo would take home the crown to little old Rhody! It was so great to not only see Rhode Island win Miss USA for the first time EVER but also to see a familiar face up on that stage! We all could not be prouder to say we know her, she is truly outstanding and fabulous. After going to school with her for 6 years all I can say is that she was always perfect! An amazing cello player and an amzing singer, this title went to the best girl for the job by far! I cannot wait to watch her journey to Miss Universe where we all know she'll take home yet another crown! Congrats go out to the whole Culpo family and of course RHODE ISLAND <3 The 401 is now officially on the map!
